My games are either played quite strongly in my opinion or completely wiped the floor with there’s no in between. I’d put it down to having better days then others but my chess rating is quite low so I’m open to tips or advice
I watched several rapid games. First, do you know basic opening principles? Second, take 1-2 openings such as Italian or even Petrov’s defense (since you played it) and study them a little.
Don’t play what your opponent wants you to play, I saw one where he just kept checking you with the knight and you went in the same spot over and over again, if you are up that much just thy to find a place that he can’t check you instantly
