Do puzzles, watch videos, and play games.
Also, lots of people at lower levels plays trick openings. Look up and memorize defenses against wayward queen and scholar’s mate on YouTube. Also, if you lose to a trick opening, go to your analysis. It should say what you did wrong and what you should’ve played. Memorize those defenses.
