Daily puzzle objective.
Sort:
Some days I don’t understand the objective of the daily puzzle, it doesn’t seem to state what I am supposed to achieve. Help anyone?

Just like normal puzzles (or "tactics" as they are also often called) are positions where there is a clearly best line of the play. The "solution" often accomplishes one of the following:
- Checkmating the opponent's king
- Winning material
- Defending an attack
