I've noticed in a few matches recently that I am getting timed out for my connection. In game it says I am red bar, low connection. Yet when I check my actual connection it is 'Strong'. What exactly is going on here? Something clearly doesn't add up/

Clients never directly connect, so your opponent can't impact your connection.

I, personally, would disagree, but it’s a great explanation!!

If your internet is acting up while playing, it’s more likely a connection issue than hacking. A lot of people confuse lag with something malicious. Sometimes, your ISP might even run an ip stress test to check connection stability, which could briefly affect performance. Also, Wi-Fi can be unreliable, so a wired connection helps. If opponents keep disconnecting, they might just have unstable internet rather than facing an attack.
