What a good way to practice to develop my pieces?

Hi! My name is Lauren Goodkind and I'm a chess coach based in California. Develop your pieces (knights and bishops) toward the center. For the first move of the game, I recommend moving the pawn to e4. In general, develop the knight to f3, the other knight to c3, the bishop to c4, and the other bishop to f4.
Also, on the first move, moving the pawn to d4 is also good. You might want to experiment developing the bishops on the long diagonals. That's another good way to develop your bishops!
