Division Trophies - Blitz v Rapid (for newbie)

I’m a new player, very low rating. I like the “Division” aspect of Chess.Com, where I can compete against others by acquiring trophies, regardless of my rating. My issue is a new player, I’ve read I need to be playing slower games in order to improve, yet Blitz awards nearly double the trophies per hour as Rapid (assuming a 50% win rate). Therefore Blitz is incentivized for Divisions? Should I just stick with rapid though?
Divisions doesn’t mean anything, just focus on your elo.

I don't want to sound argumentative, just asking here, but I was under the impression you should ignore your rating (as a beginner) while you work on improving? That's why I was focusing on trophies as an interim goal
If you want to improve, rapid is better than blitz.
Lessons and puzzles are also very good, but you seem to be doing those, which is great.
