Endgame strategy tips for beginners

I've played a game recently where i made use of common endgame strategies to win, like:

  • Activate your king.
  • Cut off the enemy king.
  • Force enemy pieces to a passive position (like guarding a weak pawn).
  • Protect and advance your passed pawns.
  • Trade pieces when you have a clear material advantage.

I am a relatively low rated player myself so the moves i played are not the most accurate but the ideas that i have mentioned are solid. Here is the game:

Hi Kau!

Congrats on you victory, always nice to win endgames like this (we feel a bit like Capablanca xD)
Only an observation, I believe 25..e5 was a more accurate move. You then can put your knight on d6, (knights are excellent pawn blockers, and he would control important squares from there, as c4, e4 and f5). His bishop becomes a "bad bishop" (the same color as his pawn, and you can consolidate your position).
