Yes, guy had a game up with a pawn 2 steps from queening and nothing to be done about it, and a material advantage as well, so he sacrificed his rook for a fancy finish. It was fancy, and it did work, but that pawn was going to queen regardless. The opponent was way, way overdue for tipping the king.
Ok. But you won anyway. A simple Nxg3 and e = Q and M5 or so... The sac was cute and it wins, but you had already won without it, in other words.
