Hey guys,
I've been doing this attack very frequently at the beginning of my game, targeting the queen, with a knight to double the attack if the enemy baits and/or is aggressive.
I know it's a very frequent move, but unlike The Queen's Gambit, (which is similar in my eyes, a very aggressive opening) I'm not sure the name for this opening. Having the name would help me train all the related strategies and the frequent subsequent moves.
After 2... d6, this is the Philidor Defense. Keep in mind that White playing 3. d3 is uncommon but has been played.
