From 198 to 504

Hey all, just wanted to post an update on my progress. At my lowest about a week ago, I was rated in the 100’s... absolutely awful. However, with some help from members here, as well as focusing more on what’s in front of me on the board, reducing blunders and mistakes, learning and studying strategies, and overall just playing more chess to learn .. I have just advanced past 504 in blitz. That’s a jump of over 400 in less than a week. Also, my bullet has increased from the 400’s to the 800’s now, too. Interestingly enough, bullet has helped me think faster and notice patterns better.

My next goal is to get my blitz to 600, because I’m already noticing players in the 500 range are a lot better than sub 500. I would like to get my bullet to 1000, and my rapid to 1000 as well!
