Hey everyone i am a beginner can anyone help me to understand why i lose my games ? like what mistakes i am doing? i am unable to understand using my self-analysis? if possible just see some of my games and please provide your opinion.
Hi. I looked at your last loss, against tombullock. As a beginner, detailed game analysis, the moves the engine recommends, aren't much help. Instead look for themes, bad habits, and then find out how to stop them. You lost the game because you moved you didnt see a discovered attack on your queen. This means your tactical vision is weak. It is a skill that can be strengthened by solving chess puzzles regularly. The second thing is that you made too many piece and pawn moves in the opening. The goal of the opening is to develop your pieces and build your position, not to try and win material and attack stuff. Learn about Opening Principles (google it and read a few websites) and apply them in every game.
