How bad is Blitz as a beginner?

Started playing chess three weeks ago. I am playing Blitz(5min) and rapid games(10min) and I feel as if Blitz doesn't help me at all. My rapid games feel better, more controlled.

Is there any benefit to playing Blitz as a total noob?

You need to establish certain discipline in thinking. And blitz is too fast for newcomers..

If you can - play 3-4 rapid games daily. And try to analyze them with stronger player.

Blitz isn’t evil, but it’s junk food for beginners. Stick to rapid and slow games to build good habits and understanding.

Blitz is absolutely buns when you are around 300-600 elo. Once you get the hang of it, you might get from 900-4863, my rating. DONT TELL ANYONE

3 weeks after learning is quite soon.

I didn't play my first blitz game until I had already been playing chess for several years ...

If you do it following the Chessbrah Building Habits way, I think it'll work. Also, you can use blitz/bullet for practicing your opening of choice.

Bro I played blitz at first and I was stuck at 600 so I played rapid and it even improves your blitz
