how do I know what my elo is

I say this bc I play a lot of rapid but not blitz and they are different amounts

I think you have to join FIDE to get an Elo rating. Here on this site, ratings in each time control are determined by the Glicko formula (not Elo), and each rating is only relevant to the particular time control.
Ratings are totally irrelevant beyond finding opponents that would be a good match.
