I started playing chess when I was about 8 years old I think. My Grandfather taught me how to play and I've loved the game ever since.
"I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now."
I'm a kid and I'm not great, I started at about 7 or 8, took a break, then I was 12, started playing again, and improved. A little.

But I didnt read anything about chess til 15. U know, just moved the pieces around without real strategy for 6 years.
I was 6...

I could've been a prodigy! I started at 4 and wasted 7 years of my chess career!
learned the piece' moves at 8.
i startd playig from 5 years .i went to classes for 5 to 6 months
I was about 8 or 9 I think? But fun fact, I never ever actually won a game until about a month ago when my family started to realise it was actually a pretty fun pastime!
