How quick? A year? That would be pretty quick.

Seems like you are progressing pretty well and you have a chance to make it.

Read and put into practice the book 257 pp "..the six power moves of chess.." by William G. Karneges. I reduced my stock of totally useless chess books - 25 - down to just 2. This book and just one about my favoured opening . . . Why hold onto books that are ultimately useless to you - give it a go, sure what have ye to lose ? ?
