how to get plast 1400 rapid?

I AM FINALLY THERE YAY
Well done!
If any given advice here was useful, please repeat it :-).

Im new to the game and only play the computer because Im tired of wasting time with people who just disappear in the middle of the game. I made it to where I can beat the 1000 rated players but the above 1000 players wipe me out. I have no idea what they do or how to even move. Im lost. Is there just a huge learning curve at that level? Yes I know that real human players are different from the computer. Im guessing I'll get several sarcastic responses but Im actually trying to learn how to move forward and if other new players have experienced this.

oh well indeed you are 1406. Why does the mini profile still show 1398 though...? Anyways congrats
Takes time to update

Is a blunder like when im trading a pawn for a pawn and my queen does a vanishing act?
JK thanks for the short, helpful lesson

You only one game in recent memory so.... maybe you play unrated games? Yea it gets 'harder' as rating progresses, but the level of play above 1000 is not that strong, lots of blunders etc and I am almost 1200 in blitz with 43% accuracy games and blunders, you just grind the wins but you get stuck after a while like me (I don't have a study guide/plan, don't know theory!).

in general, make it a habit to "blunder-check" before you make a move.
ie: is my opponent making any threats? are any of my pieces under attack? what's my opponent's next move? does my move put one of my pieces under attack?
no. look at my stats, not just my mini profile.
