246 Rapid is ......I don't wanna say 'BAD' but I get the feeling you may be missing some serious fundamentals....B/C 246 is not just 'Bad' its a bit unnatural... Try training against that 250 computer bot on here. Also I would encourage to completely re-evaluate how you have been playing thus far... I am only a 705 so I don't have much room to talk though... If you need a friend to help you out I would be happy to.

You’re a 700 lmao

learn from technoblade and not skeppy

Rfrizale

Set a goal for the game, such as pin a piece, fork two pieces, or make a discover attack. Don't play only for a win, but try to achieve some minor goals along the way. Remember after the opening development, try to make each move accomplish two things: attack a piece while opening a line ( diagonal, file, or rank) for one of your other pieces to use next turn.

Improving can be painfully slow, but there are a few tips.

1. Play with 300-400’s. You can get better by playing them, and you won’t lose much rating points. After you win or lose with them, analyse the game and try finding mistakes, inaccuracies, blunders, and missed wins and learn from them

2. Puzzles are an important part of learning and you should do them regularly. They can help you in patter recognition, which is very good in finding tactics in your game!

3. You can get better by playing games. Don’t do like 30 games a day to improve. Play 1 game,or 2 a day. You can only analyse games 2 times a day without a membership so use it wisely

4. Play with bots. You can play with different bots with different strengths and weaknesses.

5. Have fun! It does take around 3 years to gain a lot of points and try to enjoy that time!

Good luck!

I think it's bad advice to say to play higher rated opponents or whatever. Like... sure from time to time but people need to just play vs someone of their own skill level and then study the many, MANY things that go wrong in those/our games. You don't need to play a higher rated player to get value out of your games, especially not with engine analysis being a thing.

Playing against bots isn't fun for most people and really unnecessary...it's better to play against humans and get used to using time and so on. The rest is good advice though.
