Thanks everyone. Appreciate those who told me which moves specifically were bad I can see them now. 18 thought I was forking missed the Q. 23 trying to attack something bishop or move to back, missed vulnerable rook, 39 flustered couldn’t figure out how to get passed pawns without capture missed the knight and i think was getting low on time.
I frequently run out of time on 10 mins, 15|10 is ok. 30 is too long I want to get more games in, lose interest in playing after a long game. And I usually get some pressuring to speed up from the opponent which just annoys me.
Your concept knowledge is better than your opponent's. You develop pieces on the beginning while he pushes pawns, so you clearly got a superior position on the start
But you need to work on not hanging pieces.
You hang a knight on move 18
You hang a rook on move 23
You hang a rook on move 39 Maybe you got too confident?
You could have avoided those if you doublechecked if the squares you are going to are threatened or not before moving to them and if you asked yourself if the opponent was threatening something with his last move. You should try to keep those things in mind when making your moves during your games. It's ok to become confident when attaining a winning position, but never become incautious
Thanks for telling me which moves specifically were bad. 18 I think I was going for forking the king rook and missed the queen guarding it. 23 was trying to attack the bishop and position to get a check on back missed the rook vulnerability. 39 flustered and couldn’t figure out how to get passed pawns without capture and so just hit one not thinking. Plus i think I was in a time crunch.
