If King doesnt have any novels left so how does it works?

it is 10 moves right? but i fought someone before and he literally have no time but he keeps getting time

Hello NanaMan,

The translation or word you used  (novels) does not exist in chess. I suspect since you say it is 10 moves right? Novel = some sort of low time.

This most likely has to do with time controls with increments.

If you play 5/5 then you are playing a five minute game with a five second increment. Every time you make a move you get five seconds added to your clock, and at the same time the amount of time it took you to figure out the move and make it is subtracted from your clock.

Clock shows you have zero minutes: zero seconds and nine tenths of a second left. - 0:00.9 It takes you 4 tenths of a second to make a move.   your clock would now look like this  -  0:05.5 or :05.5
