I'd like to highlight the "don't hang pieces" part. While tactics, development, and time management are all very important skills, at your level, you'll most likely win if you hang fewer pieces than your opponent. Ask yourself before every move if your opponent has a threat and always be on the lookout for undefended pieces.

Michael Jordan wasn't born a good basketball player. He had to learn the game just like everyone else. The same goes for chess. I don't know why people sometimes feel like falling on their swords when they are losing a lot of chess games, but, to be bad at a new skill, is NORMAL. I bet if anyone came up here and I asked them are you good at x? How about y? and when I get to one they are not good at, or never tried before, and ask them to do x,y, or z, they won't perform very well. There is something that someone isn't good at, anywhere in the world.
To be honest I think this guy is a troll because a lot of trolls I noticed write posts like this to try and waste people's time. Troll or not, I've said enough.

You could get a premium membership and get full access to all the training tools here. It will cost you money, but, of course, anyone can be a grandmaster at chess if they try.
