Improvement As a Beginner

I can’t believe how much I’ve improved since when I joined...it’s simply amazing. And it’s all thanks to some lessons and also help from other players...two in particular who have given me so much advice and help. I owe much to them for all their help.

If you’re a beginner I can certainly recommend the chess.com lessons and also playing with someone who is willing to help you one on one, preferably someone with a higher rating than you. This has helped me immensely.

It looks like you played all your games against those two and they let you win or draw all the games. That was nice of them.

I hope you will not get too discouraged if other players actually try to beat you. It is a pretty competitive game.

They actually won every game so they weren't 'being nice.' They are really helping me out.

I was looking at the 18 games with Mugofalltrades.  You didn't lose any games.

I did actually lose a few...but they were live. And I was speaking about two different members.
