Improving my rating

Hi all, I  am a newby on this great site. Please could you tell me how to improve my rating of 400. I  always beat Aron on the computer who is rated at 700 but my rating stays at 400. Many thanks. 

First of all, playing bots is not the best way to improve. You will have to play against people.

Check out Gotham Chess and Chess Boot Camp on Youtube for some great lessons on how to improve. 

There are also puzzles and lessons available on this website. 

And as above, there is no substitute for playing real opponents.

Thank you Mr Bowie! I  haven't played for years and I'm very rusty. I will check out those youtube suggestions.
