Interrupted Iphone game disappears

I sometimes start a game against a bot on my iPhone. When I interrupt that game to do something else, at times the game is still there when I turn my phone back on, at other times it is gone. Is there any way to prevent an ongoing game from disappearing?

I think it has to do with your phones cache and there really isn´t anything you can do about it
