Interview with a chess Newbie

Listen to my first podcast where I interview Linus, a 19 year old student, that has just started playing chess.

I thought that it would be interesting to get an opinion from someone that is just at the beginning of his road and see what he thinks so far and where the game is going to take him.

Perhaps, in a few years, I will make another interview with him and we can discuss his evolution.

Stay tuned, in my next podcast I will interview a more experienced player.

Some feedback for you, intended to be constructive. The topic is pretty boring to be honest, there are millions of chess 'beginners', why would Linus be extra important to us? Try to find a more interesting hook. I'd also recommend getting a better mic/setting up better audio if you're going to take podcasting more seriously.

My idea was that because Linus is a regular person, more people will be able to resonate with him or would be able to look back at their beginning and continue the story with their own follow-up.
In my next podcast, that should be uploaded today, I will interview a more experienced player, that's about my level, or maybe a bit higher in rating. We will also talk about our role models and people that we follow or have influenced us. I hope to hear from you to see how you found it.
Afterwards, I will have a follow-up solo podcast. I am open for suggestions about what I should talk about.

Your feedback is very constructive to me and I appreciate that you took the time to tell me.
