Yes. Play slower time controls. Try and calculate (if I goes here, he goes there, then I do this, etc.). Try and build up pressure on weak points, loose pawns and pieces (targets). Then, ANALYZE all your games, wins and losses, to see what both sides can do better. Use the computer if you want, but analzye them. Don't just play and play, because if you play without learning of your mistakes, you will never improve. Go over each one of your games and censure all your bad moves and try to understand WHY it is a bad move, and why the computer choice is better. Eventually, you should learn some chess notation and just play through master games, slowly, asking yourself what you would do at each moment.
Is it possible for me to reach 1200?
dont play the first move that comes to your mind. try to imagine you played it and guess your opponent's response. if you can think 2-3 moves ahead, you probably can reach 1000+ quickly

1200 daily?
1200 rapid?
1200 blitz?
1200 bullet?
They are increasingly hard in that order!
1200 daily is easiest as long as you keep logging on everyday.

They are increasingly hard in that order!
But maybe in reverse order for 2200
Why is it so? I mean why it is more difficult to be 2200 in rapid than blitz and why thinhs are the other way in lower ratings?

Hi, I want to set some realistic goals so I wanted to ask that can I reach the rating of 1200 at the end of this year considering daily playing, solving puzzles and learning new things (from youtube)
As of now I am 800 rated

With white learn an opening that you really feel it's good for you!
You have a lot of video on opening on youtube.
Do at least a few tacticals problem like 1000 or 2000 will be a good start, like 30 min per day.
Get some knowledge about the end game.
And always think,do not play by reflex....

I was recently talking to some guy about it and maybe it's not as hard as I thought... BUT it's prudent to choose your opponents wisely. Some people violate chess.com terms of service in long games but not in short games. So you have to do a little research on people before you play them. For example it's better to play accounts that have been open a long time and have played a lot of games.

like the guy you reported yesterday that had an account since 2013?
Gemixam.
As I recall he only had 20 or 30 completed game, and 20 or 30 in progress.
In other words his account was old, but he hadn't been using it for daily.
But yes, I see chess.com closed it

Very good advice and to the point. This is also my experience.
I cannot over emphasize it.
Tactics
Some endgame knowledge
Learn one opening pretty well
And not playing reflexively.
There is a free course on chessable.com with the name of chess basics. I suggest that you have a look at it.
