It was a nail-biter but I enjoyed it. I'm just glad I'm seeing more and more tactics. This game was so much fun to play. Even if i had lost I would be saying the same.

I appreciate that, Jordan. Definitely need to get together for another coaching session. Hope all is well buddy.
Really nice endgame! I think that variation of the Pirc by Black is called the Czech but poorly executed. I think 5. Bd2 (instead of Qf3) would have been killer - unpinning the Knight and threatening a discovered attack. Great use of Knights in the middle game. Keep climbing

Normally I would agree with you if hubris or excessive Pride were present. I believe there is good pride and bad Pride. Here I believe I was simply feeling the pride of playing a good game. I even asked for critiques and advice on what I could have done better. I will say in reference to the bit about me feeling like I had made some progress, I was probably a bit deluded. As I mentioned in a previous post I was sobered by the reality of the situation. I still have MUCH to learn. I still loved this game though. I was seeing things well and sure, against a higher level opponent like yourself I'd have surely gotten my clock cleaned. But at the time I felt I played well for my level. So I'm not sure the Pride you're speaking of and the pride I described here really correlate. 🤔
