K,Q vs K,B. Is that a loss if the K,Q player times out?

According to Fide article 6.9 of the laws of chess you lose if you run out of time UNLESS No series of legal moves could possibly result in mate so therefore it is a draw.

If that is correct, then I wuz robbed.

I would say no, it's a draw. The K,B player couldn't checkmate the K,Q player, even it that one would have lost his Queen by an utter blunder. Article 6..9 FIDE rules, 2nd phrase.

The diagram at the end of the Game shows my opponent having a Bishop and  Pawn. At game time the diagram showed me having taken the Pawn thereby leaving him with K and B. But, my move taking his last Pawn  must have not have registered. Must have been a bug. 

Life is not fair. I think I will give up Chess., or have a beer.

Maybe the time was lost on the way of the signal from NZ?

I think your KxP was too slow as you were finishing off your fush and chups.

As the last picture shows, yes indeed. 

Did you get the point that it was the clock which would not allow me to take that last pawn. It had registed on the game Board, but then the time thief came and stole my move.

And I had already finished me Feesh and Cheeps as me little bird was telling me in the picture, and was not too happy, let me tell you.

And yeah, I know, registed is not right, but neither is me keyboard.

Actually, you must have found the diagram, in spite of me describing the situation wring in the Thread Tile. I cannot find it myself now, so how you did it has me beat. Well found!

But I still reckon there is some funny stuff going on with the times.

If he still has a pawn he can promote it to a queen.

If your opponent has enough material to checkmate you it's a loss when you run out of time.

You only had exactly 0.5 of a second to play KxP, so it's understandable you didn't get it in in time.
