After 11.Kf2 Black takes the Knight on c3, a free piece. If you'd played 11.Nc4, even after 11...Bxc3 12.Nxa5 Bxd2+ 13.Kxd2, you're only a pawn down.
King is hard
After 11.Kf2 Black takes the Knight on c3, a free piece.
Right, but it's only free if Black takes it Nxc3. This threatens Ne4+ to win the Queen. After Bxc3 Bxc3 the white Queen is hanging. White saving the Queen gives Black time to save the Bishop on g4.
In the game, Black takes on c3 with the Bishop, and after all the exchanges on c3, white takes the black Bishop on g4.

So black counter blundered. Don't think it mattered if he took c3 with bishop or knight first though. If it went Bxc3, Bxc3, Nxc3. My queen still has to run because black threatens Ne4+ so black can save g4. I missed the Ne4+ threat in the game.

Anyone else finds king to be the hardest piece to play well for beginners? I routinely blunder when i have to pick a square for the king to move, move the king when I don't have to, or not move the king when I should. Often times there are several options that seem reasonable in game but some of them show up as blunders in game review (like 11. Kf2 in this game). I wish there are stats that show how many times I blunder or play an inaccuracy by piece. I bet king is my worst piece by far.
By the way can someone tell me why this is a blunder vs Nc4? I considered both in game. Turns out it was a critical move as eval went from even game to almost -6 for black after I played Kf2.
