Lag Issues?

Hi everyone. I’ve been noticing in some bullet games I’m playing lately that even if I’ve set up a move while the other person is playing, I’m still losing 2+ seconds on my clock fairly regularly.

In one game I played yesterday, I lost a full 15 seconds on a move that I made instantly after I saw my opponents move.

Is this a lag issue? Or is something else going on? Is it normal to lose TSO seconds even on a pre move?

Sorry, that “lose TSO seconds” is supposed to be “lose two seconds,” but I can’t figure out how to edit on my phone.

Do you play your moves as premove or after the opponent plays you will play your move? If it is premove, then I don't have any issues with it, because i only lose 0.1 second.
