I was hoping if someone can help me find the title of a book I read as kid that was about a boy who played chess and entered a tournament. I also remember about his mom or dad being deaf. I think he also was friends with a girl and they liked each other later on. I can't remember much from there. Any help is appreciated. Oh and the cover was a green background with chesspieces in the front and I think the title was in white color.
