Hi Toxi_C!
I think ChesswithGautham was suggesting you should play longer timed games, playing speed chess like blitz gives you little time to assess the position, consider possibilities, and in general find the best moves you can. I’d agree with that assessment also, I wouldn’t play anything faster than 10|0 time controls but having an increment is even better as it’ll give you bonus time each time you make a move, essentially reducing the chance of losing by running out of time to almost zero so long as you move quickly if playing on your increment time alone late in the game.
What are you doing to learn chess right now? How much time do you have for chess daily/weekly? I’d be happy to help you with work on your chess as I’m able and try to answer any questions you may have, help you figure out a study program, play unrated games and go over them with you and such. Have a fun time with chess, it’s a great game!

Hi Jordan,
I’ve played OTB and do puzzles on lichess. Cuz it’s free (The way puzzles should be). I watch yt as well for ideas and opening learning. Trying to play chess here but it takes forever to find unrated games. Playing blitz cuz I get bored in longer games sometimes. Daily is fun tho for thinking. Gives u time and u can have a ton of games playing and see crazy long tactics. Well long being like 3 moves. Anyway, let me know what games u wana play.

i play daily rated tho… people don’t accidentally make mistakes so I don’t mind taking those points.
