White was trying to win early with a queen + knight combo, which I consider aggressive. It's best, if you can, to use counterplay to nullify the offense. As they say, "The best defense is a good offense".
I didn't see a reason to get bogged down in defense moves when my queen was doing such a fine job of that.

An active defense so to say. A very good example.
Here's a "don't panic" game against a super aggressive player. I'm just posting this to illustrate that you don't need to fear super aggressive players.
