Missed mate in 1

I started playing chess about 1 year ago. I play rapid games 10 min or 10+5, my rating is 885.
My found mate in 2 rate is 79% but mate in 1 only 56%. Although I do mate in 1 and mate in 2 puzzles on chess.com every day and almost always solve them correctly, my mate in 1 rate is not improving. 
Typical situation: I have 40 seconds left on the clock and am about to mate my opponent, but then bid check with the wrong piece or capture one of my opponent's pieces. In the end, I might still win or sometimes lose.
When I analyze my game, I immediately see the missed mate in 1.
Does anyone have or have had a similar problem or tips on how I can improve my mate in 1 rate?

Look at the opponent's king and the pieces around it , look for vulnerabilities or any undefended pieces around it and how you can attack the them using your pieces (it can be an individual or coordinated attack). If there is a mate in 1 , you'll probably notice it .
