How do I play higher rated players.   My rating is low 700.    Every time that I start a new game, I get a player who is rated 680 or 735 etc...  I would like to play players that are rated 920 or higher. Even if I lose badly. How do I adjust the settings?? I just want to do it once in a while.   Not get beat up all the time...

Your best bet is to play in some tournaments that have higher rated players. You can adjust your settings some but most of your pairings in the random pools are going to be close to your rating.

Thanks for answer. I wasn't sure. I thought the area where you can change it to +400 or -300 etc. would be the answer but I guess not. I really hadn't thought about the tournaments or for that matter played in more than a couple. But I will try that more frequently

Seems to me the best you can do is set it in the -25 to +400/♾️ range and hope for a match that isn't -25 to +220. Not much of an answer, but that seems to be how it is.

Even with a higher number on the top end, most pairings are going to be close let to the current rating in the random pools.

Yeah you can adjust your settings to make them wider but from my own experience it will still try to pair you with closely rated players if it can. The only true solution to regularly playing 920 players or higher is to get to around 900 yourself (or even 875 is probably close enough)
