New to chess looking for a coach
I'm looking for a chess coach. For University I need an extracurricular activity and I really like chess and I'm 14 years old and 900 Elo. Please is someone willing to coach me for free because I also want to join a chess league taking place every Sunday. But I'm not good enough to compete with some of the 2000 elo players there

@Worst_Player545 You said you aren't good enough to compete with the 2000 elo players, but that's completly not true! I was 1700 just a month ago, and the way I broke past it was by increasing my confidence! I played aggressive chess against high rated players and I was able to beat them! Don't think that you cannot do it. Puzzles should be your biggest focus, since the only thing between you and 1200 elo right now are tactics. Just a few puzzles a day should do the trick. a common beginner mistake is overdoing puzzles. 15 a day at max! make sure to play rapid games, with some blitz games in the middle just to practice time management. Make sure to spend over 1 minute calculating puzzles and make sure you get them right, puzzles are great calculation practice. If you are wondering how effective puzzles are, I went from 800 to 1600 by only practicing puzzles and my opening.
Im a student at western university studying pure mathemitcs and my department is holding a chess tournament against the applied math kids and i gotta learn how to play! Thanks
