Anything without a early king move like that is a improvement.
If you must move your king early, play Ruy Lopez to castle on 3rd or 4th move

but the king is the most important piece, so it's important to develop it as soon as possible. i read somewhere that the best place for a piece is the centre, since it can control more squares, which is why I play Ke2 on move 2

Well I know you are trolling but I just wanna answer you cuz maybe some other low ratd players will read this and believe you...
the king is the most important piece in terms of value because it costs the game, however in terms of strength the king is reallly weak, the queen and the minor pieces should develop...
If you develop your king to the center and expose it too much it will eventually get checkmated
Italian game is best, you don't have to study much theory, there are great attacking options (Fried Liver is really fun to play!), and it is easy to play.
