Sorry you won't be convincing any one who has the sense to see you are not proposing anything, just putting others opinions down for no reason.

Carlsen and Firouzja are top players who played blitz and bullet as children.
"Rapid and blitz chess is first of all for enjoyment." Magnus Carlsen
"Playing rapid chess, one can lose the habit of concentrating for several hours in serious chess. That is why, if a player has big aims, he should limit his rapid play in favour of serious chess." Vladimir Kramnik
"Yes, I have played a blitz game once. It was on a train, in 1929." Mikhail Botvinnik
"He who analyses blitz is stupid." Rashid Nezhmetdinov
"Blitz chess kills your ideas." Bobby Fischer
"To be honest, I consider [bullet chess] a bit moronic, and therefore I never play it." Vladimir Kramnik
"Blitz – it's just a pleasure." Vladimir Kramnik
"I play way too much blitz chess. It rots the brain just as surely as alcohol." Nigel Short
"Blitz is simply a waste of time." Vladimir Malakhov
"Blitz is just getting positions where you can move fast. I mean, it's not chess." Hikaru Nakamura
This is absolutely correct...
But allow me to say one thing in defense of the Blitz/Bullet heads here...
A lot of people don't actually like playing conventional chess, or they definitely do not like what is required to be good at conventional chess.
When you actually sit down and face off in a very difficult over-the-board battle that lasts a long time, it can be quite stressful. When you play longer time controls, you might feel more wounded when you lose a game: you invested thirty minutes of your life only to fail.
Moreover, actual chess improvement requires a lot of time in tactics, game reviews, studying all these books... It's just not going to be fun for a lot of people.
I like to play 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 basketball with a few friends. I like to go jogging on Saturday mornings... Not sure how much I would like playing full court, 5 v 5 basketball, with an actual referee, against men half my age who practice 10 hours a week; not sure how much I would like running a 10k once a week.
So, I am sympathetic to some degree with the OP -- he's improving the chess he plays, and he's enjoying himself.
If some other middle-aged man tells me I can improve my 3 on 3 basketball by shooting HORSE or something, I mean, sure, yes, perhaps that will improve my middle-aged man 3 on 3 basketball game.
But this poor guy ended up suggesting people play more Bullet on a forum where National Masters and 2000+ players come and chat, lol.
Obviously, the chess advice designed for 'adult improvers' whose chess world consists of playing short time controls on the morning commute is going to be significantly different than the chess advice given to 17 year olds working on becoming candidate masters.
..; But yes, you are completely right: the only way to truly improve at 'Chess' in the sense that Magnus Carlsen plays chess is to play long time controls through actual chess experience is long time controls chess.
Kramnik is definitely old school and would prefer if none of his charges played bullet.
But there are quite a few GMs who play blitz and bullet every day.
There are more than one way to get good at chess.
Put another way, do as they do, not as they say.

GMs only play bullet for fun or to practice for other bullet tournaments.
I am against bullet , Its kinda addictive but it doesnt justify your progress . You will get defeated by a 600 rated sometimes because they will only kill the time but you will focus more on carefully setting up the pieces . It also lower your confidence as a good player . i find 2 min ones better but 1 min and 30 sec ones r not upto the mark .

Yes, but GMs already know how to play chess well. They've quite literally mastered the game.
For most players, mastery is still a long ways away. So it's more important to learn how to play properly, in the limited amount of time that one has.
Understanding should come before speed.
It fits the normal pattern of human learning: crawl, then walk, then run.
Yes, my statement is not true for everybody
Not true = false, so you should just say

If you aren't titled or the strength of a titled player, extensive play of bullet and blitz are generally not recommended for improvement.

10 second bullet
my chess thinking abilities worsen markedly when I get addicted to playing bullet even for sometime. trying to stay away from it, and playing 5 minute blitz instead

Guys, in colloquial English the "not true for everybody" means that while it is generally true, there are exceptions for whom it is not true.

Playing fast time controls will not help you improve. Slower time controls help you to think about your moves more, and you won't dig in bad habits.
