On the length of the articles and game annotations, yes, they're not supposed to be read in a couple of minutes. This is because they're not meant as informative ("this happened") but instructive ("this is why and how you can do it in your own games"). From this point of view, they're rather short. I write them thinking of what I would tell the young-me if I could travel some decades into the past.
On a side note, not Nictator, which resembles Dictator, but Nicator (Séleukos Nikátōr), after one of the generals of Alexander, which seemed a cool nickname –it means "Victorious"– for a Diablo II character, and somehow found its way into this account.
