Problem with endgames

I realized that most of my games have endgames very, very quickly (even at 25 move), but often I am losing my pawn advantage (very small difference, almost draw positions). What’s the way to improve endgames, because I think then I would win many more games?

You are welcome. Anyway as I've said there, you have to learn opposition, basic checkmates and some basic positions like Lucena and Philidor. There are nice youtube videos on some endgame techniques. You can start there and build up on it.

Go to Puzzles>Drills and practice as many checkmate and endgame positions as you can. Do them over and over. Also, as nklristic said, check out some good YouTube videos.

Dvoretsky's highly-regarded endgame book is now available in the latest updated revised edition. This is regarded as the best endgame manual, but it may be too advanced if you have problems in simple endings. Two classics you may find more helpful: Tarrasch's "The game of Chess", which starts with explaining basic endings, and "Capablanca Teaches Chess". Both of these authors believed that endings should be studied first, as "If you can't master positions with few pieces and easy-to-spot plans, how can you hope to handle 32 pieces and endless possibilities?"

Sorry-- Capablanca's book is "A Primer of Ches".

Read Jeremy Silman's endgame course. I see from your account you are around 1300, that book would be a perfect place to start. The other books recommended are much more advanced -- I know from personal experience happy.png

Once you have read that, read 100 Endgames you must know -- Jesus de Villa. It is a more difficult read but will help you save half a point here and there. Hope this helps!

Chessable have some very good and free endgame courses. I've found it a good way to learn the different techniques.
