Rapid or Blitz?

Hi guys,

I'm a beginner and I'd like to know if I should only play rapid now till im a higher rating and then go to blitz? Or do something else?  

Yeah rapid is probably better for you so you can have time to figure out your moves.  Once you have some openings down and aren't hanging pieces, then you might want to try some blitz.  One exception is if you are trying to learn an opening, then playing blitz against the computer sometimes helps to get a lot of experience in a short period of time.  Good luck!

I Like Bullet my blitz and rapid are 1500 but my bullet is 1830 because im just fast

Play Rapid till rated 1000 then play bullet or blitz

slower is better if ur trying to improve.

Ten minutes is a good balance between the two. 

I was so used to 10 minutes when I was 1400 that I still continue to do 90% 10 minutes games to this day.

Even titled players admit that speed chess can potentially hurt their game. So if you want to be better at chess, longer time controls are a must. If you just want to kill some time and like some quick games, you can play blitz, but you will not improve too much.
