Well, I don't know. I just got good lol
not surprised. often when a player is lower rated, and quickly learns about and sees tactics such as simple forks, discovered attacks and skewers, (provided they have a sensible opening) they climb a lot. people in the 800-1000 range are very easy to beat if you see enough simple tactics and hanging pieces.

So I've been playing chess since february. I was very bad, around 300 elo ish. But then I decided to put in my all and to try to reach 1k elo by the end of April. I was 4 days late, but I've succeeded in my goal. So beginners, just believe, do puzzles and you'll reach the 1k elo mark in no time. Good luck!
