the engine is obviously stronger then me, and has done a lot more calculations, there was also a previous reaction about the D5 move. it showed that there are a lot of trades possible after this move. That would rather be the reason for me to not make this move.

Since you're not able to understand the "why" behind the engines move, it makes no sense to use an engine unless its to check for blunders, and missed tactics.
Now to answer your question....
your reactions are gold to me, im sure i can use this in my other games. in case I have an advantage in space, I can start threatening and looking for opportunities

Your comment shows even more what I mean by playing a move like 8.Qd2
ur last message explains a lot, I noticed in a lot of my games that I needed one more attacker, I simply attacked without adding the amount that I needed, the full development was required all the time. I will have to apply the rule to connect rooks more here and find a good spot for my queen as it is the strongest piece in the field

I think d5 looks interesting. My guess is it aims to open up the e-file with Re1 to come. Making it uncomfortable for the his king. A bunch of trades on d5 will weaken blacks control of this square particular if his LSB is traded off. He can cover it with c3 but that removes a useful square for his knights. You could try b4-b5 to exchange off the c pawn. So a plan might be play to open up the centre, centralise your rooks, weaken and secure d5 for a knight
in the game i was only thinking of defending the c2 pawn as this is weak, immediately after i moved my rook to c1 i regreted that move because i couldve attacked the queen with Rd1. later on you will see that i moved the rook to that square😅

The c2 pawn is weak in the sense that another pawn cannot defend it. But you also have to ask yourself. "Can black attack the pawn?"
so if black can not attack it within, lets say 2/3 moves, then i dont have to defend the pawn and I can take the open file, thats also good to know

Yep...something that gets taken out of context is the idea of attacking. So many think that means playing like Tal, sacrificing things, and such. When in fact it can mean something as simple as playing 13.Rd1 attacking the queen. You then force black to waste a tempo moving the queen. Like i said. You want your moves to do as many things as possible. Yes, there will be times you will be limited, but that's part of the learning process.
what is your thought on 8. D5, the engine shows that that is the best move
Before i answer. Let me ask you this. "Why do you think its the engines first choice?
