In this study, you will work on sacrificing pieces to checkmate your opponent. 

 


 

1. Sacrifice your bishop to checkmate the king. White to move. 

 
2. Bring the Black king to f8 and find your checkmating move. Mate in 2. 

3. Which rook should you sacrifice? Back rank mate in 2. White to move.

4. Bring the Black king to h6 to deliver checkmate with your bishop. 

5. Sacrifice your White rook to deliver checkmate with your queen.

6. Sacrifice your queen by capturing g7 and find your checkmating move. White to move.

There's a mate in 3 in puzzle 5 with Ba3+, if this was in a game, I'd probably see that move before the sac
