Maybe the puzzle is actually about the puzzle itself? Like, the real challenge isn’t solving a traditional riddle, but realizing there’s no puzzle in the usual sense. Could be a test of observation, critical thinking, or how we handle ambiguity.
It reminds me of those psychological experiments or certain movies where the real task is to recognize the setup is intentionally “broken.” So if we’re all searching for a riddle that doesn’t exist, maybe that’s the trap. Or... we’ve just fallen for someone’s clever sense of humor 
Funny how a few people already said “I solved it” — maybe they noticed something the rest of us didn’t? Or is that part of the misdirection too?

At first glance, everything seems straightforward, but as the story unfolds, you realize the real test isn’t about solving a traditional question — it’s about how the candidates react under pressure, with minimal guidance and a lot of ambiguity.
I’m starting to think this puzzle might be doing the same thing. Maybe it’s less about what the puzzle is, and more about how we respond to the lack of clear instructions. Some people immediately try to "solve" it, others question whether there's anything to solve at all, and a few just roll with it.
In that sense, the real puzzle could be observing ourselves — our assumptions, our need for structure, and how we deal with uncertainty. Clever stuff, if that’s the intention!
