I feel like almost everything I learned about Chess when I was young was wrong. I see games now and follow the coaching on here and think "I was taught NOT to do that!" So, maybe I need to go back to Square Two (after all, I do know how the pieces move). But it's going to take time to unlearn what I know and start to rebuild my knowledge.

Could you give a few examples of this? I'm sure I or someone else could explain the reasoning behind some of these things.
