Alright!
Opening: You don't have a solid opening. For white, I would recommend the queen's gambit, London system, and the English opening. For black, I would recommend caro Kahn, Indian game, and the sicilian.
Middle-Game: Look at your opponent's last move. Think about any possible moves that he could play. Then look at the moves that you can play to defend that or create your own attack. Try to connect your rooks. Take the open files. Don't move your king or pawns unnecessarily. Protect your king. Look out for tactics. Calculate ahead of time, and play confidently. Focus on the game.
End-Game: This only occurs when the queens are traded off the board. Focus on attacking the opponents pawns and pushing your own. Don't try attacking their pieces unless you're a hundred percent sure that you can gain a piece. And always try keeping your king ahead of your pawns.
Good Luck!
Hey, i'm stuck at 500 to 550 elo at the moment and i don't feel like im improving that much.
I've already posted on being stuck once, at 300 elo, and i got mostly standart answers like checking for blunders or looking out on what my opponent wants to do. Now i'm stuck again and don't know which of these things i still suck at. Could anyone review some of my Rapid Games and tell me which things i still don't do often? It would really be apreciated.
