Hey everyone,
I'm an intermediate player (around 1500 ELO) and I've noticed a significant weakness in my game: endgames. Specifically, I often struggle in King and Pawn endgames. I feel like I understand the basic principles, but when it comes to executing them in real games, I find myself making mistakes or missing key ideas.
Once, my opponent lost in a drawn endgame because they moved their king to the wrong spot even though the moves were very similar. If you don’t have a deep review of endgames you will enter this situation so books work. I don’ see much else other than learning it yourself or using the drills which is harder.
