His videos How To Beat The Wayward Queen Attack and Don't Develop Your Queen Too Early allowed me to absolutely destroy a higher rated opponent this morning.  I'm sure I could have been even more efficient, but watching him constantly having to retreat his queen away from my normal development was awesome.  It was all over in 10 moves.  I was playing Black by the way.  I wish I could figure out how to flip the board when posting games.

So thank you, Ben.  Your channel is making a very real difference in my play.

Nice.

Beautiful. When you've pasted the PGN in there is a drop down tab called "theme" click into it and there is an option to flip the board before you post it.

Nice! The Wayward Queen attack is very annoying. It has been played against me 34 times!

Yep, great work Chris, and yes another great lesson from Ben.  Ive seen it so much down here in the sub 800s that I can pretty much pre-move moves 2-6 and it either ends with a n fork on c2 of the K and R on a1, or a capture of the Q by move 10 and opponent resigns ha.  Then there are those that are more skilled and take the game further but it seems once they realize they wasted 10-15 moves on a 'trick/trap' and finally develop their knights they just lose interest happy.png

Ben's video on the 'Wayward Queen' was the only one I could understand. It's pretty much stopped those irritating players that keep playing it time after time.
