Dear Chess Friends,

Pawn promotion is a typical thing in chess (most of the time it happens in endgames but sometimes in middlegames, too). Usually, we promote to a queen but in some situations we need to use the underpromotion (e.g. to avoid a stalemate). Beginners tend to forget about underpromotion, so I collected 10 really fascinating and instructive examples to demonstrate the power of underpromotion. You can watch the video on my Patreon channel here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/power-of-121260399?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

The main topics what you can learn from this video:

     - What is the underpromotion in chess?

     - Typical situations in which you should use the underpromotion

     - 10 entertaining examples for underpromotion

     - Rook vs. Knight endgame theory
