Thinking of trying daily games

It's something that recently came to mind. My ADHD brain always seems to relegates me to playing chess a lot for a few days and then abandoning it for two weeks. Obviously, this isn't helping much with my improvement, as my rating has reached a stopping point again. There's also the issues I run into with time management, where I can take a perfectly winning position and make it not winning because I have <30 seconds left and go into panic mode.

So, with all of that in mind, I've been considering the slowest time control, as it would probably help to maintain my attention for longer periods of time and possibly prevent me from playing uncharacteristically stupid moves when I have very little time left on my clock. However, I have a few questions about it, and I was hoping y'all could help.

1. What do the time controls mean?

Does "2 days" mean the game has to end within 2 days, or does it mean you get 2 days to make a move when it's your turn? Or is it something else?

2. Aside from the obvious, what is considered cheating in a daily game?

Obviously, I do not plan to cheat on purpose. However, I also do not plan to do it unintentionally. I'm sure the answer to this question is going to be pretty obvious, but I just want to be certain.

3. Do you get to confirm your moves?

Probably another dumb question, but I've heard of this before and wanted to know in advance. Supposedly, you can "play" a move and see how it looks, then click a button to either officially play the move or take it back. Is this actually a thing?

That's pretty much all I've got. Thank you for taking your precious time to read my little essay and hopefully answering my questions 💀 lol

You cannot use a chess engines, end game table bases or ask for help. But you can use books, and opening databases.

3. Do you get to confirm your moves?

You can use the analysis board to play out your candidate moves. Once you decide you play your move in the game and click the green check mark.

All I play is 1 day, move at least once in a 24 hour period. I play around my work schedule. It works for me. Usually my opponents or I play quicker, but you have at least that 24 hour period to move.
